Pet Sitting Bio — Pricilla

Hi! I'm Pricilla (34), a Masters student at DTU with a lifelong soft spot for animals and a camera that's always ready to capture your pet at their most adorable. 🐾

I've had animals around me my entire life — and I mean that broadly. We're talking parakeets, cats, dogs, rats, chickens, turtles, Great Danes, and horses. I once rescued a pair of baby squirrels that fell from a tree, which tells you pretty much everything about me. At some point I seriously considered becoming a veterinarian, but science pulled me in a different direction. The love for animals, though? That never went anywhere.

I spent 2–3 years as a professional full-time pet sitter with a pet care company in Los Angeles, building long-term relationships with many recurring clients, followed by another six months of independent sitting before returning to school. In that time I've worked with pets at every stage of life — bouncy puppies and chaotic kittens, mellow seniors who just want a warm lap, and everything in between. I've learned to read animals well and can usually tell when something feels off, whether that's a change in energy, appetite, or behaviour.

My own dog, a stubborn and deeply cuddly dachshund, lived to nearly 17 years old before passing recently. If you have a dachshund, I'm your person — I know the breed inside and out, from the right way to lift and carry them to navigating stairs, terrain, and keeping those clever little minds entertained. I miss having my doxie by my side every day, and honestly, that's a big part of why I'm so ready to start caring for pets again. ❤️

One thing to know: I don't speak much Danish yet, though I'm working on it! My native language is English and I also understand Spanish very well and speak a bit.

What to Expect

Area: I work only in the Holte/DTU area and have a flexible schedule.

Meet & Greet (free): A meet and greet is required before any booking — I want to meet you and your pet properly before we get started. We'll go over entry and exit, your pet's routine, any medical needs, and anything else that matters to you.

Dog Walks: Walks run about 45 minutes to an hour on the trails, and I take different routes each time so your dog actually stays interested. I can also set aside the last 15 minutes for backyard play — fetch, tug-of-war, whatever your dog is into.

24-Hour Home Stays: I'll be with your pet at minimum in the morning and evening, and I won't leave them alone for more than 6 hours. Expect lots of play, cuddles, and — if you allow it — a very comfortable spot on the bed. If your pet has medical needs that require attention during the night, there will be a small additional surcharge.

Updates: I take communication seriously. You'll get photos and updates every visit, and if you're really missing your pet, I'm happy to set up a video call. 📸
