Growing up, our home was never quiet, two dogs and two cats made sure of that. That chaos taught me about how animals think, what they need, and how much a familiar routine means to them when their person is away.

I'm Maria, and I'm now back in a season of life where animals are finding their way back into my world, I'm in the process of becoming a pet owner again, which means your cat or dog won't just be staying with someone who likes animals. They'll be with someone who genuinely misses having one around.

I offer home visits and dog walks for cats and small dogs in the extended Ørestad area. Your pet stays in their own space, with their own smells and their own schedule, and you get regular photo updates and the peace of mind that comes from knowing they're with someone who actually gets it.

I offer both walks or runs with your dog, depending on what is needed. The length of the routes depends on the dog's needs. There is the possibility of walks in different areas, which can be anything from nature, city and beach.

The times for walks can be throughout the day until mostly 5-6 pm. But I am trying to stay flexible with times.

I stay calm and patient in stressful situations, paying close attention to an animal’s signals and responding in a way that helps them feel safe and reassured. I also adapt to different conditions, whether it’s keeping pets cool and comfortable in warmer weather or making sure they feel cozy and secure when it’s cold.

A typical visit is structured around your pet’s routine and needs—this can include feeding, fresh water, walks (for small dogs), playtime, litter box or hygiene care, and of course plenty of attention and affection. I always take time to observe their mood and wellbeing. In case of any emergency or concern, I act quickly and responsibly, contacting you immediately and, if needed, reaching out to a veterinarian while keeping your pet as calm and safe as possible.
