Hello, my name is Solvita and I am a proud owner of Pufi, my 6 years old British Shorthair male cat. I have been living in Denmark since 2013 and have completed my studies here. Currently I'm working in my profession. In my free time I enjoy supporting community spirit and meet other pet owners by running facebook group - Vejle Internationals with pets. I am passionate about all pets and have always been surrounded with them - cats, dogs, rabbits, pet rats and birds. In my early career I have worked in a pet store (for 1 year) as a sales assistant and overall I am familiar with individual nutrition, care and interaction needs, mainly for cats. Before getting my Pufi I was very concerned of how will it be to take a responsibility for a pet in a foreign country where I don’t have any close family members to trust him while I am away, therefore I can relate to all the concerns that one can have when traveling. It can be hectic to move to a new town even within the same small country. I had established a great pet owner community while living in Aarhus, but 3 years ago when I moved to Vejle I felt like building the network had to start over again. In that regard I can probably share a tip or two - where to start and how to settle with your furry friend quicker. And that is my answer to why I am on Pawshake - to find help and help others that are new here and must travel without their pet.
