I grew up surrounded by animals, so being around pets has always felt like home to me. I got my first dog and cat when I was around 8 years old, and they stayed with me until my twenties. My dog was truly my best friend, and my one-eyed cat was my little soulmate. Over the years, I also had bunnies, fish, and four cats in total, so animals have always been a big part of my life.

I still have a cat in my home country, and even though my parents take very good care of her, I miss her a lot. I’m not completely sure she misses me as much as I miss her - she is a cat after all, so she has her own emotional schedule - but I’m always very happy to visit and annoy her with my love, like any proud cat mom would.

Since moving to Denmark, I haven’t been able to have my own pet yet, mostly because my current lifestyle and living situation don’t make it possible right now. But I really miss being around animals, so pet sitting feels like the perfect way to bring some furry therapy into my life, while helping pet owners feel calm and safe when they are away.

I have also taken care of friends’ pets before. In my daily life, I work as a pedagog with children, so patience, responsibility, and care are a big part of my everyday work. With pets, I try to bring the same gentle attention - getting to know their personality, habits, and funny little quirks. I love spending time with animals, playing with them, petting them, and probably talking to them a little too much - luckily, they are usually very good listeners and they don’t share my secrets. Your pet can expect lots of attention, care, and love from me. 

I can help with dog walks, home visits, feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, basic brushing if needed, and keeping your pet company. For dog walks, I usually offer walks of around 30 minutes, but I am happy to adapt depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and routine.

During visits, I always make sure your pet has everything they need, that doors and windows are safely closed, and that they feel calm and comfortable before I leave. I am also happy to send updates and photos, so you know how your pet is doing while you are away. 

For everyone’s safety, I ask that dogs, cats, and other pets are up to date with vaccinations when this applies to their species. For animals where vaccinations are not usually relevant, I’m happy to discuss their care needs individually.
