Hi! My name is Demir and I'm a recent graduate from Aalborg University with an MA in Tourism. I come from Croatia 🇭🇷 where I grew up on an island surrounded by sea, nature, and domesticated, farm and wild animals.

Throughout my childhood, my family always had cats as pets and also took care of the half-domesticated ones around the neighbourhood. I grew to love them and become somewhat fascinated by their unique characters very early in my life.

When it comes to fellow dogs, I became accustomed to them sometime later in my life, yet still love them and their different personalities and characteristics.

People often describe me as calm, friendly and warm. I believe this to be true at least when it comes to being around animals. I enjoy being around creatures that are quiet yet fully present, which I suppose makes me as such too in their presence.

I'm an active and outdoor person with a passion for many different activities, including long walks; so spending time with your pet outside will be to mutual benefit and enjoyment.

I also love to spend time inside; writing, reading, listening to music...all together creating good energy and peaceful vibes. I would be happy to have your pet for a companion during this time :)

My home is a studio apartment with a small terrace in a peaceful neighbourhood. While it's not a deluxe mansion, I like to make my living space comfortable and pleasant to be in. On top of that, there is a nice, big park close by, and many more green areas to explore.

Due to space and regulations of the residence, I can host one pet at a time.

I do NOT have experience or education in veterinary medicine. If your pet has any medical conditions that I should be aware of, please inform me and instruct me on how I should approach the concern. While I am attentive and can sense whether there is something wrong with an animal, I do not have the necessary skills to treat serious illnesses or injuries. I can give medicine, but if your pet requires special medical care, please contact another pet sitter.
