For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Solrød Strand for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Solrød Strand Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Solrød Strand sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello!
I, Denis, and my boyfriend Mathias are in love with dogs, and we have been offering exceptional dog-sitting services on Amager since 2021. We speak both Danish and English (plus Hungarian and Slovak). Our motivation to start dog-sitting has been to prepare and get used to a new friend in our home. After 3 years of living together and 2 years of dog-sitting, in November 2023 we were lucky enough to welcome our own Cavapoo puppy, Atlas, into our home, and we could not be more excited
Honestly, dog-sitting has been the best experience so far, and we love it so much! ️ To connect with dogs and their owners has been super beneficial to our lives, and we gained so many good friends and experiences - of course, we are craving for more! We both had dogs since our childhood, so we know what it takes to give the best service to them. Moreover, having our own doggo now makes us want to connect with dogs even more, as we want Atlas to socialize and get new friends Atlas is the best with dogs and other animals too, he loves to play but he also enjoys his time alone. We are sure he would be great friends with your dog/s too!
We live on Amager in a big 117m2 apartment with a balcony, close to Øresund metro station - the dog beach is super close, as well as parks and natural areas like Kløvermarken or Prøvestenen, where we usually go for long walks and playtime We work from home every day, so we never leave the dogs home alone. We also offer pickup and dropoff of the dog/s as we have a car.
If you're interested, feel free to ask questions! You can also come over for a coffee one of the days to check out our place and see if your furry friend could become friends with us and our Atlas - we would love that! We already have a few returning dogs (not only from this platform) and they became our best friends - would you also like three new best friends for your dog/s? Just reach out to us and let’s get to know each other!

English:
I love cats and horses, i have grown up with them. I had 4 cats with my ex, so i know what they need and what it takes to care for them.
I have been taken care of many types of animals, grown up with most of them. Cats, rabbits, horses, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, turtles and more.
I have bathed, brushed, fed, trained, cuddled, cutting nails, inspecting battle wounds and doing the most ergent care, before they get to the vet. Emptied catlitter, removed offerings from the cats.
Im only interested in a 24 h care in the environment the animal is most comfortable and used to. Im only i terested in a service up to at least 30 days. Im only intereste in stays that start from mid january to mid or end february and only on sjælland. Im not interested in dog sitting.
I dont know what more i can write, if you are interested in hearing more, please write to me. I speak and write in danish and english.
Im not currently not in denmark, so you can only reach me on this site or by email.
Im a Danish veteran that need a base in between positions. And what better way to do that, than to do it with cute animals. I handle emergencies well and will be taking good care of your animal. When im sitting, we can communicate by phone and i can send pictures and send updates of how its going.

Hi! I’m a huge animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I completed an internship as a vet tech/veterinary assistant, where I learned a lot about different types of animals, their behavior, and how to care for them safely and responsibly.
I grew up with cats and guinea pigs and have always been surrounded by dogs through family and friends. I regularly take dogs on walks and love giving animals attention, comfort, and company.
I live in a spacious, pet-safe apartment together with my boyfriend, who also loves animals. For overnight stays at my home, your pet will have a calm, loving, and safe environment with lots of care and companionship.
Walking your dog, just checking in on your furry (or not furry) friend or staying over at your house/appartement are all services that I offer!
I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I will always do my best to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and happy. I currently only accept vaccinated pets.

Hi! I’m Sacha . I’m originally from Argentina, where I grew up in a small town surrounded by animals. We always had dogs and cats around, and I was also lucky enough to grow up close to horses, so caring for animals has always felt very natural to me.

I now live in Roskilde with my husband , and we’re a couple who really love animals. While I’ll be the main person taking care of your pet, my kæreste is always happy to join and give some extra love and attention too — so you could say you get two animal lovers for the price of one

Since moving to Denmark, having animals around is something I’ve really missed, and pet sitting gives me the chance to have that connection again while helping someone else feel comfortable knowing their pet is in good hands.

I’m calm, responsible and affectionate, and I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s personality and routine — whether that means going for walks, playing, giving medication, or simply keeping them company and making sure they feel safe and relaxed.

I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I’m always happy to send photos and updates while you’re away.

Your pet will be treated with the same love, patience and attention I would give my own

Hej!

For the animals I care for during the day at my home; I will take your dog out according to the times you specify and longer if necessary. I can take the dogs I care for during the day for walks on Vallensbæk strand and let them spend time off-leash, depending on the situation. On weekdays, I drop my daughter off at daycare around 8 am and she stays there until 3 pm; she loves animals very much. On weekends, my daughter is at home. I never allow her to play with animals as if they were toys. If you tell me about your pet's personality and what they likes, we can plan our day accordingly and you can call me as often as you like throughout the day and anytime you can ask for photos.
If you have a dog bed, you can bring it. I'll put its bed in the living room, but it can sleep on the sofa if it wants. I prefer to look after them during the weekdays when my daughter isn't home.
If your pet like children, I can look after your pet on weekends; I don't want your pet to be stressed.
